We Brits tend to get our knickers in a twist whenever there's a bit of snow, and the Daily Mirror's take on one particular weather story threw up a great headline. Apparently the Environment Agency advised people to build snowmen in their gardens to 'help slow the thaw down a bit.' Hence the headline 'Thaw Blimey', a clever play on the euphemism 'Cor Blimey' which is an exclamation of surprise.
