We are the 99% is a site for the dispossessed. The 99% of people who are suffering from the bad decision making and outright fraudulent activity of the 1%. It's very moving to read the stories of the people who have joined this movement.
We are recommending this English blog, which is called, believe it or not, The man repeller. It might be just another fashion blog, but the aim of this blog isn't to show women what to wear, rather it's a guide on what not to wear, and I have to say it has some outrageous fashion mistakes. If you want to know what a man repeller is, or what man repelling does, they provide a nice dictionary entrance.

Amos Kwok is a writer, and on his site he has kindly included a selection of his short stories to read online and a blog about the English language. Be warned though, some of the stories are very dark.
