My Modern Metropolis describes itself as a site where art enthusiasts and trendspotters connect over creative ideas. Well I don't know about that, but they have got some amazing posts - including my favourite - The Book Surgeon.

Notting Hill Girl is a sort of "pavement catwalk" blog. It's written by an Australian who lives in Notting Hill, London. She seems to be strangely obsessed with bags, boots, and accessorizing, but if you like fashion, you'll like the blog, and even if you're not into fashion, it's well-written with lots of photos.
The Last Word site is run by New Scientist, a respected science magazine. You can ask questions about anything scientific and get answers from a team of scientists.
Well it's that time of year again, and what better way to celebrate than to see what Santa has been up to. According to the web site, Mrs. Claus has informed NORAD that Santa’s “Naughty or Nice” list includes a record 1.9 billion children under the age of 15 this year!
This Christmas Eve (December 24th), you can even join NORAD in tracking Santa's flight from your mobile phone. On December 24th, open Google Maps for mobile and do a search for "Santa" to see his latest location. I love the internet.
