Every month I choose a photograph from Flickr to appear here. Hopefully something interesting and informative or just plain silly.
This month's photo is from Judo Dad. It's called, Camp Fire.
I figured that even though it's a camp fire and not a bonfire, it would be perfect for November.
The description says, "Nothing like a good camp fire. A campfire is a fire lit at a campsite, usually in a fire ring. Camp fires are a popular feature of camping, particularly among organized campers such as Scouts or Guides. Without proper precautions they are also potentially dangerous. A certain degree of skill is needed to properly build a campfire, to keep it going, and to see that it is properly extinguished. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia."
There's a round you can sing 'round' the campfire:-
Campfire's burning. Campfire's burning.
Fetch the engine! Fetch the engine!
Pour on water. Pour on water.
!Note - A round is a musical composition in which two or more voices sing exactly the same melody (and may continue repeating it indefinitely), but with each voice beginning at different times so that different parts of the melody coincide in the different voices, but nevertheless fit harmoniously together.
